My journey with Betterfit represents a period of deep technical growth and hands-on contribution to a platform built around performance, reliability, and seamless user experience. Stepping into the role as a full-stack developer, I became a core part of the team responsible for architecting and refining product features that sit at the heart of the Betterfit ecosystem. A significant part of my work centered around building robust, scalable authentication and user-management flows. Leveraging AWS Cognito, I implemented secure sign-in, MFA, and session-handling logic, seamlessly integrated within a modern React application powered by Redux Toolkit and createAsyncThunk. This included designing state-management patterns, improving data flow consistency across the app, and ensuring a frictionless experience for users navigating protected features. On the frontend, I focused on delivering clean, intuitive interfaces supported by efficient component architectures and reusable UI logic. My work extended beyond surface-level UI to performance tuning, error-boundary design, and long-term maintainability—aligning the product with best practices and supporting rapid iteration cycles. Beyond the frontend, I collaborated across the stack, contributing to API integrations, debugging complex edge cases between services, and strengthening the reliability of Betterfit’s core platform. Each challenge—from refining authentication workflows to optimizing client-server communication—served as an opportunity to deepen my technical foundations and expand my problem-solving versatility. My time at Betterfit has been defined by continuous learning, ownership, and a commitment to delivering thoughtful engineering solutions. At Ikonia, my journey commenced on January 18, 2021, as a frontend developer, primarily focused on crafting immersive user experiences using Django templates, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JQuery. As I delved deeper into the realm of development, my role evolved into that of a full-stack developer. During this phase, I spearheaded the creation of Toobons, a dynamic platform blending PHP Laravel and Blade for the frontend, while also venturing into the mobile sphere with React Native. Amidst the vibrant ecosystem of startups within Ikonia, such as Adresto and Battiseur, I remained deeply engaged, contributing to various ongoing projects.
